Óscar ó mellor son

O Oscar ao mellor son (Academy Award for Best Sound Mixing) é un premio entregado pola Academia das Artes e das Ciencias Cinematográficas como parte dos premios Oscar que recoñece a mellor ou máis eufónica mestura de son, gravación, deseño e edición de son. O premio adoita outorgarse ao mesturador de son, o mesturador de gravación e ao supervisor da edición de son. Antes da 93ª edición dos Óscar, a mellor mestura de son e a mellor edición de son eran dúas categorías separadas.[1]

Na primeira ocasión na que se entregou o premio (3ª edición dos Óscar) só se dixeron o nome do filme e a compañía.[2]
