アカウントAさんのツイートから本記事を拝見し、言及元記事の作者(アカウントBとします)さんの記事に対し第三者という視点で記します。
揚げ足取りのような内容になる点、また引用が飛びまくる点についてはご容赦ください。
では本題
話を戻しますが、これは中国でも問題視され、ニュースにもなったようです。アカウントAの人は、この報道を元にそのデザインの基板＝不正品の疑惑があるという思い込みをしました。
とありますが「思い込みをしました」という思考こそアカウントBさんの「思い込み」以外のなにものでもない気がします。
一般的な思考としては過去にアウトであった基板デザインと同等であれば「疑わしき」と感じるのはしごく普通の思考と感じます。
結果、今回のリマークが露呈するわけですが。
中国全体を見た時の技術力向上は目覚ましいものがありますが、昔と変わらず偽物文化も根強く残っているようです。SSDも例外ではなく、怪しげなSSD用基板、怪しげなNANDチップが通販で売られています。中には廃棄品の横流しが疑われるようなものなどもあるようです。
とアカウントBさんもお書きになってるようアカウントAさんもこのことをご存知だったゆえ、先の「疑わしき」と感じられた１要因かと感じます。
＜なぜ疑惑が正しくないといえるのか編＞
要するに、SpecTekの型番が入ったNANDチップはMicronの工場で生産されたものです。Micron用、SpecTek用で生産ラインが分かれているのかは分かりませんが、仮に分かれていたとしても、Micronの工場で生産したNANDチップにMicronがロゴを再刻印してMicronブランドとして販売することに何の問題があるでしょうか。
逆を言えば、なぜMicronの子会社でもなく、むしろdivisionであるSpecTekの名のままで提供しなかったのでしょう？
ここはアカウントBさんお得意の「推測」になってしまいますがSpecTekで出すよりMicronで出すほうが
「性能が確かで、知名度があり、印象がいい」と思われる
からなのではないでしょうか。
当方が無知なだけかわかりませんがMicronは知っていますがSpecTekは知りません。
(b)同じMicron社のSpecTek製チップ(マーク刻印)が搭載されたSSD
理由は先に記した通りで「性能が確かで、知名度があり、印象がいい」なMicronだから。
そして(b)がSpecTekではなく、samsungや東芝製チップ(マーク刻印)されたSSDであればどちらにしようか迷います。
理由は同じくMicronもsamsungも東芝も「性能がry...だからです
ここは私の想像ですが、単純にSpecTekブランドで出荷予定だったNANDチップに注文のキャンセルなどがあり、同じ仕様のNANDの注文があったMicron側に渡したというだけの話ではないでしょうか。
疑惑を立証、断定する段階において「推察」ましてや「想像」など論外かと存じます。
アカウントAさんのよう同じ基板だ怪しいぞ？と仮説の段階ではアカウントBさんが記されたような想像はよいでしょうが
言及元記事においてはレポートや論文における「結果」「結論」に値すべき項目に記すべきことではありません。
何の証拠もなく記すのは「リマークされることが正当である」と思わせる印象操作にしか思えません。
不正なNANDチップを使うのはひとえに安いからであって、隠すためにNANDチップ1枚1枚にコストをかけるのはナンセンスだからです。ここからも、Micronが妥当な手続きを経てNANDを出荷したと推測できます。

不正なNANDチップがコーティングを施してもまだ利益を生む価格であれば十二分にやりうることと考えます。
また過去の「型番を消すように斜線が引かれている、網掛けされている」だけではすぐバレてしまうという悪い知恵だったのかもしれません。
しかし、この読み方には問題があります。ポイントは「/」の読み取り方です。例として「S5」を見てみましょう。「Partially Tested, est yield of 50%」となっており、「部分的にテスト済み、容量の推定50%」という意味です。「/」ではなく「,」が使われています。意図的に使い分けているということです。他の使用例の紹介は割愛しますが、よく読むと「A/B」は「AまたはB」、「C,D」は「CかつD」という意味で使われているのが分かります。
