Thank you for contributing to Audile! Your translations make the app accessible to more people worldwide.

Recommendations

  • If you don't use Audile, familiarize yourself with the app by downloading it from F-Droid or GitHub to understand string contexts.

  • Aim for natural-sounding translations that feel native to your language, rather than word-for-word matches with English.

  • Keep a tone similar to popular music apps like Shazam, YouTube Music, or Spotify - neither overly formal nor informal.

  • Even if a string has already been translated, corrections and other suggestions are still welcome.

  • Fastlane component contains strings used as the application description for F-Droid. There is no need to translate changelogs inside this component.

  • If you encounter any unclear strings and need more context for translating, just ping me in comments @AlekseySaenko
