Sorry, I am quite lost here. Is this task now for bundling for MW 1.37 (this was crossed out), so it seems we can discuss here bundling with 1.38? But then why the subtasks that where there when you discussed 1.37? So I guess all of the mentioned above will probably be included in 1.37 if the pass all tests?

I don't really care if it is in 1.37 or 1.38 (I am only using LTS versions). but I am convinced that chameleon skin should be in a release.

So forgive me if I repeat myself here. If I am wrong, please direct me to a correct thread.

I would love to see chameleon skin bundled with MW. Often MW is seen as not visually appealing and the systematic of Mobile Frontend with a separate mobile and desktop version is not what most third-party users want. The usually want a responsive design and a bootstrap based skin such as chameleon or tweeki (or foreground which is based on zurbs framework).

The advantage of chameleon is that you can quite easily customize your look and feel. It is also one of the most frequently used accoring to https://wikiapiary.com/wiki/Skin:Skins

The first line of the task description is a navigation header, maybe that caused the confusion.

https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Suggestions_for_extensions_to_be_integrated/Checklist is the closest we have to a tutorial on how to go about bundling a new skin.
