Tubing at Mount Peter
Tubing at Mount Peter = 100% fun + 0% bummer
Mount Peter puts the “win” in winter, with a speedy, multi-lane 600-foot tubing run! Tubers race from the top to the bottom of the hill at exhilarating speeds, then just hop on our Carpet lift for a laid back ride to the top.
Grab your family and friends and suit up, because this is everything you love about tubing, minus the worst part – hauling your tube back up the hill! At Mount Peter, we have our Carpet lift that brings you from the base of our Big Hill to the top and all you need to do is stand still, give us your biggest Tubetastic smile, and have a blast!
Tubers must be 42” or taller to ride a single tube on the Tubing Hill. Tubers between 36” - 48” may ride in a tandem tube on the Tubing Hill with an adult (all tubers must have a ticket, even if they will be riding tandem). Any tuber between 36” - 42” looking to enjoy our Tubing Hill must ride in a tandem tube accompanied by their parent/guardian. If conditions permit, two participants over 48” may ride together in a tandem tube. Tubing tickets allow access to both our Tubing Hill and our Little Tikes Hill. If your child is a Little Tikes tuber, you will need a ticket to be in that area with them. Booking online is required - sessions fill up fast!
Little Tikes Tubing
People under 36” tall don’t have to miss out on the good times either! We’ve set up a winter wonderland complete with a fun-sized tubing hill, made specially for our littlest adventurers. Parallel to our Carpet Lift is the Little Tikes Ramp- used to access the Little Tikes Hill. Atop the hill will be an attendant waiting to assist you and your Little Tike. Adult supervision is required for those under 8 years of age, but we think you’ll have a good time, too!
Wear What’s Warm
Appropriate winter attire will ensure your tubing experience is comfy, rad and safe. Dress in warm layers that can be removed if necessary – it’s easier to cool off than warm up. We recommend treaded hiking or winter boots, waterproof snow pants, jackets and parkas, waterproof gloves, hats and scarves, and sunglasses or goggles to protect from sun and glare. Unacceptable footwear includes women’s wedge boots, rain boots, sneakers, etc.
You must have a valid tubing session ticket and sign a release form to use the Tubing Run or Little Tikes Tubing Play Area at Mount Peter.
Aaron CFebruary 15, 2024Cool place to learn. The staff is super friendly. Prices are great. We had an awesome timeBradFebruary 14, 2024Excellent beginner mountain. Organized and well run ski school. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended for teaching kids to ski.Tom BarberFebruary 12, 2024Love Mount Peter! My son has been going there for three years. Great private lessons and very accessible.Indian AmericanFebruary 11, 2024Nice ski area that’s compact and easy in/out. Good for beginner ski lessons (haven’t yet tried the overall mountain). Patient, attentive and skilled instructors at the mountain ski camp (kids did the 2hr weekend Kid Ski Camp - they effectively got a private lesson). The size is just right - I dropped the family right next to the rentals and they were on the snow in 15m. Far cry from the madness that’s Mountain Creek. And it’s right off NY thruway so a breeze to get to.Shylji S.February 10, 2024It was amazing… we enjoyed it a lotTwinkle ParekhFebruary 10, 2024Great place to take your kid for skiing and snowboarding. We went last week for snowboarding they have free lessons for 50 minutes which was great. We had Nick as our instructor he was really good with my son. Really appreciate his time and efforts.Dov KrauszFebruary 6, 2024This place is / was amazing. Very nice and helpful staffClaudia GomezFebruary 5, 2024I went snow tubing on Saturday morning with my 2 year old, 6 year old and my niece and nephew who are in the same age bracket. We all had an awesome time. The staff was unbelievably nice, friendly and helpful. One of them almost leaped to their deaths trying to stop a tube from going downhill before others had a chance to move out of the way. Not only are these young men good at their jobs but they are so pleasant considering they are standing out in the cold for long hours. You have my respect and applause ??Load more
