Psychologia clinica
Psychologia clinica est compositio scientiae, theoriae, scientiaeque clinicae ad miseriam vel infirmitatem in psychologia conditam intellegendam, prohibendam, et levandam atque ad subiectivam hominum salutem auctumque iuvandum constituta.[1][2]
Quae disciplina coepisse plerumque habetur anno 1896, cum Lightner Witmer, psychologus Americanus, primum valetudinarium psychologicum clinicum in Universitate Pennsylvaniensi aperuit. Primo saeculi vicensimi dimidio, psychologia clinica ad aestimationem psychologicam tantum attendere solebat, tractatione medica maximam partem neglecta. Post autem annos 1940, belli mundani secundi causa, numeri medicorum clinicorum bene educatorum magnopere crescere coeperunt.
In Civitatibus Foederatis sunt quattuor scholae utiles: psychodynamica, humanistica, cognitiva, ac familiaris vel systematica.[3]
