"Sunny Side Up: A Stroll by the Knoll" is a relaxing (for the most part) pixel art adventure game. I created it as the final major project for my illustration and animation course in college. With the exception of the player controller code, which was developed by Matthew J Spencer, I designed, illustrated, animated, and composed everything in the game.
Originally, the game was intended to be a relaxing experience where players would walk through the forest and interact with wildlife and fellow travellers. However, due to time constraints, I had to scale back my work. Instead, I designed a short and relaxing level, and added a more challenging bonus section at the end for those who want to try it.
