Hey, thanks - I'm really glad you liked it! And you're spot on about why I don't do branching choices - I think doing it properly without seriously compromising the writing and story to accommodate for them, very quickly becomes an impossible task for a solo developer.
For example; imagine all of the scenes in the story at the moment with all of the girls in the harem interacting with one another. Then imagine the player has the ability to remove any and all of those girls. Same with a lot of the character development and motivation: if the player had the ability to reject Lucy at the start for example, suddenly Victoria's story and the way she changes don;t make any sense at all.
So while I do get why a lot of people love choices, and in fact I had originally set out with the intention of creating a branching story; I think that being a kinetic novel is really the only way to tell this story as it is.
