Vilayanur Subramanian "Rama" Ramachandran (lahir 1951) adalah ilmuwan neurosains yang dikenal akan karyanya dalam bidang neurologi perilaku dan psikofisika. Ia adalah kepala Center for Brain and Cognition,[1][2][3] dan profesor di University of California, San Diego.[4][5]
Ramachandran terkenal akan percobaannya dalam neurologi perilaku. Ia telah dijuluki sebagai "Marco Polo neurosains” oleh Richard Dawkins[6] dan "Paul Broca modern" oleh Eric Kandel.[6] Pada tahun 1997, majalah Newsweek menobatkannya sebagai salah satu dari "seratus orang yang paling penting untuk ditonton" pada abad ke-21,[7] sementara pada tahun 2011 Time memasukkannya ke dalam daftar seratus orang yang paling berpengaruh di dunia.[8][9]
