Claudia Goldin
Claudia Dale Goldin (New York, 1946ko maiatzaren 14a) estatubatuar ekonomialari eta ekonomia historialaria da. 2023ko Ekonomiako Nobel Saria jaso zuen, lan merkatuko genero arrakalen arrazoiak ikertzen egindako lanagatik.[1]
New Yorkekoa eta familia judukoa, ekonomia ikasi zuen Cornell Unibertsitatean eta Chicagokoan. Graduatu ondoren, irakasle izan zen Wisconsin-Madisongo Unibertsitatean, Princeton Unibertsitatean eta Pennsylvaniako Unibertsitatean. Amerikako Elkarte Ekonomikoko eta Historia Ekonomikoaren Elkarteko presidentea izan zen, eta Gizarte eta Politika Zientzien Amerikako Akademiako kide hautatu zuten. 2015ean, ekonomia ikasten ari diren emakume kopuruaren arrazoiei buruzko azterlan bat hasi zuen.
Emakumeari eta ekonomiari buruz egindako lan historikoagatik nabarmentzen da. Emakumeen lan-indarra, soldaten genero-aldea, diru-sarreren desberdintasuna, aldaketa teknologikoa, hezkuntza eta immigrazioa ikertu ditu.
