Jesse Pinkman
editPlease take note of this change I made to something you added to the Jesse page. While I appreciate your efforts so far with that article, and that particular source/fact is an excellent one for the "Development" section, I made a minor change because Vince Gilligan says in that interview it actually was not the writers' strike that made him decide to keep Jesse, but rather that he was impressed with the character/actor. Also, I made some grammatical/spelling fixes and removed the sentence that began with "The Pinkman Charcater in the long run has proved a major asset..." because technically that is a point of view statement, which is not allowed. — Hunter Kahn 15:40, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Holby articles
editHi! I just wanted to say how nice it is to have someone working on Holby City character articles—they tend to be a bit of a neglected area, and Frieda Petrenko is definitely long overdue an article. I see you added Sacha Levy to the to-do list; I don't know whether you're planning on working on that yourself, but that's brilliant if so, he's another with a lot of potential for an article. By way of introduction, I'm Frickative, and the Holby articles are one of the main areas I edit in (myself and User:Raintheone are currently working on a draft article for Sahira Shah.) Something to watch out for going forward is Wikipedia's notability guideline - a character needs to be the subject significant coverage in reliable independent sources to be considered notable enough for an article, and I'm not sure Lulu Hutchison meets that mark yet. Articles should be more than just plot summaries, and the only development source I know of that could be used is an Inside Soap interview with the actress. Given that she's only around for eight episodes, the amount of coverage going forward isn't likely to increase significantly, so she might be better off merged into the Characters of Holby City article. From your user page, I see that you're relatively new to Wikipedia, so if you have any queries, or if there's anything I can help out with at any time, just let me know! Your signature
editWhy does your signature link to User talk:Kuyabribri? Is that an alternative account of yours (or this an alternative account of that one), or is it a mistake? Even if you control both accounts, you ought not to link your other account in this way, and if you do own both accounts (and have a policy-based reason for using both accounts) you ought to make a prominent note on your user and usertalk pages that you are the same person, to avoid confusion. - And this diff, where you finally spot the problem, but fail to correct your previous message asking me if I was sure about what I'd said! Come on, how thick do you think I am not to spot that one? BencherliteTalk 21:27, 4 August 2011 (UTC)
Well i dont think you are thick, i did say i wasnt aware. I do apologise if i didnt thank you for pointing out the error in my signature or offended you in anyway (it must have happened when i was copy n pasting the font code from another user). you shouldn't be so cynical, i only realised when i signed your talk page. Character pictures
editHi, the reason that I did not delete File:Walter white breaking bad.jpg was because no one nominated it for deletion. We should not have pictures of living people that are non free here. You are welcome to nominate it for deletion. ps you have an impressive sounding username! Graeme Bartlett (talk) 23:24, 5 August 2011 (UTC)
Gotti
editI started a stub for once principal production starts on my userpage. I'm fairly certain you can do that yourself, or create a subpage to move into main namespace later, and maybe use some of the stuff I found. --Lenin and McCarthy | (Complain here) 01:01, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
DYK for Magistrates of England and Wales
editOn 12 August 2011, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Magistrates of England and Wales, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that Lord Irvine dismissed a record of fifteen magistrates of England and Wales in a single year in 1999? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template talk:Did you know/Magistrates of England and Wales. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and add it to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
Thanks for adding this article. DYK needs you. Victuallers (talk) 08:04, 12 August 2011 (UTC)
Rabinder Singh
editWhy are you presenting him as already being a High Court Judge? He is not one until he is sworn in, presently planned for October. Until then he holds office as a deputy under either s 9(4) or (possibly, since he was subsequently appointed as a Recorder) s 9(1) of the Senior Courts Act 1981. The entry is simply wrong. Magistrates of England and Wales
edit- - GA review nomination.
Hi, after some discussion with User:Bbb23 we are open to taking on this review together, would you have any objection to that? Also if you accept our offer please be aware this is both of our first GA review, so not to expect speedy work and their might be minor hiccups as we get used to the process, we would be looking to take our time a little.
