Do we really need all the crap in the current infobox? I mean... ERP? The infobox is meant to display short summarised information about the station. All it does now is waffle on about digital frequency, analogue frequency, HD channel, SD channel, etc, etc.

How about we shorten it to just:

  • Logo
  • Type
  • Country
  • Founded
  • Slogan
  • Market Share
  • License Area
  • Owner
  • Callsign
  • Affiliation
  • Website

I agree, it seems far too long and cluttered IMO. I would be happy for the information to be retained in some form, perhaps as a subsection titled Broadcasting Details or something. Slj 09:33, 29 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

I added a history section, feel free to pick at it as I am not completely happy with it but feel it will do for now. Also if anyone knows whether there were other owners between WAN and the Bell Group (and dates) please add it in.

I also added reporters to the 7News section, after seeing it done on the HSV-7 page. Slj 12:42, 30 January 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fat Cat

edit

"Fat Cat has been the only WA television mascot to survive" - certainly the only Perth-based TV mascot to survive, it sounds, but WA's only? GWN's Doopa Dog still exists AFAIK with their Saturday Club, although no idea whether he puts the kids to bed anymore like he used to (not a local)... -Spiky Sharkie [ talk ] 04:47, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yep he does..around the same time as Prime Possum coincidentally (I was in WA last holidays). Perhaps it might be a good idea to change it to 'one of the few remaining' or something like it - there certainly aren't vary many metro station mascots still around. timgraham 06:04, 12 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

When did the transmission location change?

edit

I've just added a sentence that TVW7 originally transmitted from Applecross Wireless Station (shamelessly plugging the article I'm writing :-) ), but we should probably mention when they changed to Bickley. Mitch Ames (talk) 11:27, 1 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hello fellow Wikipedians,

I have just added archive links to one external link on TVW. Please take a moment to review my edit. If necessary, add {{cbignore}} after the link to keep me from modifying it. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}} to keep me off the page altogether. I made the following changes:
