Frozen dessert is a dessert made by freezing liquids, semi-solids, and sometimes even solids.
Would there be objections to changing this to include the ancient frozen desserts that were chilled, but not technically frozen. Ice is frozen, but not by human intervention. I don't want to lose this well-sourced content and I think this is the right article for it. If there are no objections I will make some changes in the coming weeks.
