Production Numers
editRevised the variants section to match the quoted production number of 75 built:
- J6906-J6908 (3) three prototypes
- J6990-J6991 (2) two prototypes as part of the Mk II development
- J7182-J7231 (50) is the main production batch of Mk IIs for the RAF, this is sometimes quoted as 48 aircraft with J7184 being the first production aircraft. It appears that J7182 and J7183 were built as Mk Is for some reason.
- J7768-J7779 (12) Mk IIIs
- J7978-J7985 (8) Mk IIIs
Anybody clarify what J7182 and J7183 were and what they were used for, thanks. MilborneOne (talk) 16:54, 30 March 2018 (UTC)
