Disambig

edit

Does this need a disambiguation note with respect to Mary Chapin Carpenter?

Minor Edit

edit

I corrected the baptisim location and burial location and stressed the English connection. I tried to add the links to her brother and father but did not do it right. A better editor could correct this.

I also added some "See Alsos."

Jarry, I thought links going to pages that are not there cause red text in the article. Red text can lower the rating of the article. If you want the red text ... okay fine. Jrcrin001 (talk) 16:23, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Lower the rating of the article? Huh? Anyhow, no, in an ideal world we would not have redlinks because all possible articles would exist. But we're not there yet, nor will we ever reach that place. Red links highlight articles that should be created, and provide a handy click-and-type method for creating them, and, as such, they're an integral part of Wikipedia. As ever, we have guidelines on red links, which you can find at WP:REDLINKS. - Jarry1250 (t, c) 16:37, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
It is indeed my intention to create a Lewin's Mead article, but that willahve to wait until I am back in Bristol, circa mid-May. Jezhotwells (talk) 21:17, 27 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Good to know about all of the above. I'll look foward to seeing what you do for Lewin Mead. Jrcrin001 (talk) 18:05, 28 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

Confusion about dates

edit

We currently read

'Europe and America...... between the years of 1857 and 1746.'

Clearly this is a mistake. Can someone knowledgeable about the topic please correct this? Thanks!! Grandma Roses (talk) 16:23, 3 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
