Because of strife within the assembly, it was dubbed, by some Afghans, the "loya jagra" ("big fight").

Does this sentence refer to the 2003 assembly, or the previous one? The placement of this sentence with the previous one is confusing. DanKeshet

The U.S. held the power of veto over the entire document. Is this really true? It seems unlikely to me since the US never delcared fomal occupation authority in Afganistan the way it did in Iraq. Perhaps this is referring to the de facto state of affairs due to the US military presence? In that case this should be explained and reworded less strongly. Ddye 19:56, 1 Mar 2005 (UTC)
