Margaux Benn, born in 1988, is a Franco-Canadian journalist.[1] In 2022, she received the Albert Londres Prize (written press) for her coverage of the war in Ukraine in Le Figaro.[2][3]

In 2021, Margaux Benn co-directed with Solène Chalvon-Fioriti the documentary Afghanistan: Living in Taliban Country, where they explored Taliban-controlled areas, documenting life under their regime.[4] The film, broadcast on Arte and France 24, won a Scam Star Award, was a finalist for the Albert Londres Prize, and was nominated for the Bayeux Prize for War Correspondents.[5][6][7]
In 2023, she directed another documentary with Chalvon-Fioriti, titled How Beautiful You Are! - Being 20 in Taliban Country. They followed two young women, Sofia and Niguina, who run a beauty salon while the Taliban implement new repressive laws. The documentary aired in March 2023 on LCP-AN.[8][9][10]
