Fictional character biography
editKreon is a Teban warlord who previously lost an arm and eye in combat and now seeks to end wars rather than start them, in contrast to his militaristic species.[1][2] He recruits Star Sapphire, who kills over a dozen men before being subdued. Kreon is shunned by his fellow Chieftains, but Hal Jordan sees potential in him and recruits him into the Green Lantern Corps.[3]
Kreon comes into conflict with fellow trainee Boodikka, who he views as barbaric and lacking in discipline. However, the two come to respect one another after Kilowog forces them to face psychic manifestations of their fears.[4]
Later, Kreon is among several Lanterns kidnapped by the Manhunters. He is killed battling them, after which Boodikka inherits his ring.[5]
In Blackest Night, Kreon is temporarily resurrected as a Black Lantern.[6]
In other media
editKreon appears as a character summon in Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure.[7]
