Iferouane is a department of the Agadez Region in Niger. Its administrative seat is the city of Iferouane. As of 2012, the department had a total population of 32,731 people.[1]

History
editThe department goes back to the administrative post (poste administratif) of Iférouane, which was established in 1964.[2] In 2011, the administrative post was separated from the department of Arlit and elevated to the department of Iférouane.[3]
