Discussion
[edit]Just wondering, should Tuan Le be considered a French professional poker player since he was born in France or an American since he won his big tournaments in America? - Super Mario
- It's always debatable, but if you think about it, Tony G and Joe Hachem are considered Australian, Scotty Nguyen, Men Nguyen and many more are considered American, despite none of them being born there. This said, Carlos Mortensen lives in America but is usually considered Spanish. Likewise with Phil Laak who lives in the US but is usually considered Irish. When in doubt I tend to just use the definition in The Hendon Mob's database. Essexmutant 10:22, 20 November 2005 (UTC)
- Tuan Le is a friend of a friend of mine. He's of Vietnamese ethnicity, unless I'm mistaken; was born in France, raised in America; very much doubt he considers himself "French" in anyway, and may contact him about this. Alexander 007 23:34, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
It was stated many times on the the NBC National Heads Up Poker Championship that Tuan Le and Nam Le were, in fact, related... they're COUSINS! This should be changed on both their pages!
