Dogscrews
[edit]AIUI, the Dogscrew doesn't have a spiral thread, its threads are (for want of a better name) cylindrical. They are hammered home into the timber sleeper and the "thread" grips the wood mucg better than a smooth spike would. CMIIAW. Tabletop (talk) 10:37, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
