POV

[edit]

This article is seriously POV messed up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.177.75.213 (talk) 04:10, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You are more than welcome to fix it. Make sure to follow the rules though. BlueAg09 (Talk) 04:31, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Already tried fixing it using the Aggieathletics website as a source. Slocum did indeed have a losing record his final season and he did indeed lose two games in which he was leading by 18 and 17 points in the second half, respectively. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 214.13.220.147 (talk) 12:44, 6 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Coaching integrity

[edit]

The whole section on his actions as head coach at Texas A&M needs to be revised. In 1994 the NCAA sanctioned the Aggies for program violations from 1990 to 1992, years two through four of his tenure as head coach. Due to the actions of the previous coach A&M was eligible for the death penalty but sanctions were limited to a post season ban and loss of televised games. While he may have cleaned up his act he continued his predecessor's cheating activity in the early part of his career. Es330td (talk) 12:27, 13 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
