Drug arrest
[edit]Here's something for discussion or consensus voting. Should the information about DGB's arrest on marijuana charges be placed in the "College career" subsection or the "Personal"? Bender235 and are at (friendly) odds over it. My feeling is that since the arrest caused him to be suspended from the team for at least one game and (at the risk of WP:Crystal) probably more disciplinary action from Mizzou athletics and maybe the NCAA, that it affects his college career - to whatever degree - and belongs in that subsect. Bender235 feels it belongs in "Personal", as is often the case on most, but not all Wiki's. There are examples (Janzen Jackson, Bernard Scott) where legal issues don't appear under "personal". Bender & I would like to get everyone elses thoughts before moving the DGB info anymore. What say you folks? Sector001 (talk) 15:49, 5 October 2012 (UTC)
- Im awful late to this but...whoever wrote the current compromise (a brief mention in college career and longer explanation under personal) did very well and I think it works just fine. I tend to agree with Sector that some mention needs to be made about the arrest under career as it did have a significant impact on his first season.
