Explain
[edit]Can anyone explain why it's referred as A-Leagues instead of just A-League JC Kotisow (talk) 10:32, 28 April 2024 (UTC)
- It was rebranded when they brought the then W-League under the A-Leagues and called it A-League Women --SuperJew (talk) 11:48, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- Yeah, confused why they didn't go for the slightly less clunky "A-League Men All Stars" but must relate to wanting to use the umbrella term "A-Leagues" for both mens and women's teams. Macosal (talk) 12:26, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- @Macosal @SuperJew Should we also add the result from Tottenham v Newcastle? JC Kotisow (talk) 20:47, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- I don't think so. It's a friendly between two English clubs which happens to take place in Australia. The article is specifically about the ALM AS game. A close question could be if to change the scope (and name) to Global Football Week. Personally I don't think so and don't think it has enough sourcing/notability, apart from the AS game. --SuperJew (talk) 20:57, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- @SuperJew Yeah you're right plus the match should be recorded in the club's season articles anyway. JC Kotisow (talk) 21:27, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
- @SuperJew Do you have any suggestions to improve this article? JC Kotisow (talk) 21:28, 22 May 2024 (UTC)
