Summary

Description Watkins Exposure Meter with one-second pendulum timing chain attached to removable cover at one end, rotatable rings around cylinder to calculate aperture, time, etc, and removable cover at other end to retain coil of light-sensitive paper, with slit to pull out in stages. Engraved 'Watkins Exposure Meter - Patent - Sole Makers R. Field and Co. Birmingham'. Note: this is not the later Watkins 'Bee' Meter, which was similar in appearance to a pocket watch.
