English: Photo of Ham Fisher, cartoonist and creator of comic Joe Palooka in 1939.
A search for renewal was done in artwork for the years 1966 and 1967. There were no listings for Pan American Coffee Bureau; there's no evidence of renewal for this advertisement.
Fisher is seen at his drawing board working on a copy of the comic Joe Palooka. Only a small portion of what he was working on in 1939 is pictured and it would not be possible to identify which comic strip this is. This meets the de minimis criteria if the comic strip rremains under copyright.
This portion of the ad has been altered to remove the ad copy which is seen to the left of Fisher's head in the original.
