Bastam District (Persian: بخش بسطام) is in Shahrud County, Semnan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Bastam.[3]
Demographics

[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 37,635 in 10,380 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 39,101 people in 11,762 households.[5] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 44,052 inhabitants in 14,295 households.[2]
