Alarum is a 2025 American action crime thriller film directed by Michael Polish and starring Scott Eastwood, Sylvester Stallone, Willa Fitzgerald, Mike Colter, Ísis Valverde, and D. W. Moffett.
Plot
[edit]Two spies go rogue so that they can get married, but their remote cabin comes under attack from various intelligence agencies, each looking for a stolen hard drive.

Production
[edit]The film was awarded $5,863,392 from the Ohio Motion Picture Tax Credit Program on February 13, 2024.[2][3]
Principal photography began on February 26 in Oxford, Ohio at Hueston Woods State Park,[4] and wrapped on May 14.[5]
In May 2024, it was announced that Signature Entertainment acquired U.K. and Irish distribution rights to the film.[6]
Release
[edit]Alarum was released in the United States in select theaters and on video on demand on January 17, 2025.[7]
Reception
[edit]On the review aggregator website Rotten Tomatoes, 0% of 20 critics' reviews are positive, with an average rating of 3.5/10.[8] Metacritic, which uses a weighted average, assigned the film a score of 23 out of 100, based on 5 critics, indicating "generally unfavorable" reviews.[9]
Peter Sobczynski of RogerEbert.com awarded the film one star out of four.[10] Jeff Ewing of Collider rated the film a 3 out of 10.[11]
