Ziggy Sperber (born October 9th, 2010) is a cross between a Chihuahua /tʃɪˈwɑːwɑː/ (Spanish: chihuahueño)[1] and a dachshund (UK: /ˈdæksənd, -hund, -hunt/ DAKS-ənd, -huund, -huunt or US: /ˈdɑːkshʊnt, -sənt/ DAHKS-huunt, -ənd[2]. He was found on the side of I-95 in Daytona Beach, Florida in 2012. Five days after being rescued by the Daytona Beach Humane Society, he was adopted by Lindsey Sperber.

Temperament
[edit]Ziggy is a good boy. He loves to burrow himself in pillows, clothes hampers, and blankets. He is often found under the covers or below the bed, deep in the dark and safety of what he perceives to be his den. Ziggy also enjoys time in sunlight.[3]
Health
[edit]Ziggy is physically healthy. However, may tremble or shiver when stressed, excited, or cold. He seeks warmth in sunshine, under blankets, or on furniture, or human laps.
