Oktiabrske (Ukrainian: Октябрське, Russian: Октябрьское), known by Ukrainian authorities[nb 1] as Biiuk-Onlar (Ukrainian: Біюк-Онлар, Crimean Tatar: Büyük Onlar) is an urban-type settlement in the Krasnohvardiiske Raion (district) of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, a territory illegally occupied by Russia as the Republic of Crimea since 2014. As of the 2001 Ukrainian Census, its population is 10,910.[2] Current population: 10,218 (2014 Census).[3]
