For general reference: The WFT sometimes transcribes centring diphthongs /i.ə/ or /u.ə/. This notation means half length, not a syllable break. In my opinion this half length is best omitted entirely, but if you do reflect it, please use /iˑə̯/ and /uˑə̯/ respectively. The majority of our entries seem to be correct, but sometimes the WFT form has been copied blindly. 2.207.102.112 22:21, 7 November 2024 (UTC)Reply
