Struthio camelus (Common Ostrich) is a species of Aves in the family Struthionidae. They are listed in cites appendix i. They are native to Ethiopia. They are diurnal herbivores. They have parental care (pair provides care).

Definition: Appendix I lists species that are the most endangered among CITES-listed animals and plants.
