Description
Català: Escut de València (comarca de València, País Valencià): «Escut caironat. En camp d'or, quatre pals de gules. Al timbre, corona reial oberta, tradicional al Regne de València. Per cimera, el rat penat, de sable. Acostat, l'escut, de dues eles d'or coronades, i envoltat per dues branques de llorer, de sinople, encreuades per la base i lligades amb un llaç.» L'escut està dibuixat amb la forma de cairó i la corona que hi apareix en els annexos II dels decrets 116/1994, de 21 de juny, i 72/2015, de 15 de maig, del Govern Valencià. Els elements exteriors (ratpenat, eles i branques de llorer) han estat dibuixats basant-se en els escuts que hi apareixen a la medalla de la ciutat, a la sala de plens de l'Ajuntament, en alguns rebosters i en altres elements de la ciutat. Els colors són els que hi apareixen a l'annex IV del Decret 72/2015, de 15 de maig.
Español: Escudo de València (Comunitat Valenciana, España): «En escudo cuadrado apoyado sobre uno de sus vértices, campo de oro con cuatro bastones de gules, dos eles coronadas como sostenes y dos ramas de laurel que se cruzan en la parte inferior. Al timbre, corona real abierta surmontada de un murciélago, visto de frente y con las alas extendidas, de sable.» El escudo está dibujado con la forma de cairó y la corona que aparece en los anexos II de los decretos 116/1994, de 21 de junio, y 72/2015, de 15 de mayo, del Gobierno Valenciano. Los elementos exteriores (murciélago, eles y ramas de laurel) han sido dibujados basándose en los escudos que aparecen en la medalla de la ciudad, en el salón de plenos del Ayuntamiento, en algunos rebosteros y en otros elementos de la ciudad. Los colores son los que se indican en el anexo IV del Decreto 72/2015, de 15 de mayo.
