病毒學

病毒學（粵拼：beng6 duk6 hok6，英文：Virology）係一門研究病毒嘅學科，病毒學嘅一個主要分支係病毒分類。病毒可以根據佢感染嘅宿主細胞嚟分類：動物病毒，植物病毒，真菌病毒同埋噬菌體。另一種分類係用衣殼嘅幾何形狀（通常係螺旋或者二十面體）或者病毒嘅結構（例如有冇脂質包膜）。病毒嘅嘥士範圍由大約30 nm到大約450 nm，所以大多數光學顯微鏡都睇唔到佢哋。
