Balaw language
[edit]Info on the Balaw language from Keita Kurabe (p.c.).
- "Balaw is spoken in Theinni, Shan State, Myanmar. Based on its basic vocabulary, it's clear that it belongs to the Northern Burmish branch. I think Balaw is closely related to or almost the same as Pola (Bola) spoken in Yunnan. There is only one speaker in Myanmar although there were much more before according to my consultant. The native speaker identifies himself as a group of the Lhaovo." — Stevey7788 (talk) 18:44, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
