[edit]Sorry for relatives but it is Jo Ewart who read the surrender conditions in german not Derek Knee.
The poor guy died the following year in mysterious condition, so for history it was okay to tell it was Derek Knee who was the translator but it was actually not the case.
Please refer to the original Memories of Montgomery (1950's version).
