WikiProject Biography is a Wikidata community project to collect and present data about individual people (i.e. items with instance of (P31)human (Q5)). The discussion forum here is also the place to raise social and ethical issues which come with Wikidata's large scale collection of personal data.

Activities

• Develop Wikidata profiles for individual people
• Develop Wikidata profiles at scales for groups of individual people
• Discuss the Wikidata data model for profiling people
• Demonstrate sample queries for accessing Wikidata's biographies
• Recommend best practices for curating biographical profiles
• Provide a forum for anyone to discuss Wikidata biographies
• Address social and ethical issues related to biographical data
