Nintendo Items
You can obtain Nintendo Items including clothing and Furniture inspired by Nintendo classics such as The Legend of Zelda, Metroid and Super Mario Bros.
How to Get Nintendo Items
To obtain most Nintendo Items, you'll need to purchase Fortune Cookies from the Nookling General Store for 2 Play Coins (obtained by walking with your 3DS on).
Each Fortune Cookie has a redeemable fortune in it. Eat the Cookie from within your inventory and the slip of paper will appear in its place. Take the fortune to one of the Nook boys, Timmy or Tommy, in their shop to get a random Nintendo Item.
While these Fortune Cookie Nintendo Items cannot be purchased, it is possible to receive them as gifts and rewards from other characters in the game.
