Poor Things (2023)
What a shambles
Left the cinema after 30 minutes (30 minutes of my life I'm never going to get back). I just couldn't take the stupidity of this film for long. Ridiculous, awful, not at all funny, sick - sick - sick- and a very weird, crazy film I've ever had the misfortune to watch. People in the audience were laughing - but I can't for the life of me think why. I think it has to be one of the worse films I've ever watched.
I have to admit that Emma Stones' performance was brilliant. I also have to say who ever was in charge of the camera and editing did a fab job!
I'm going to need to watch a bit of Disney to get that garbage out of head.
Day Shift (2022)
The worst vampire film ever!
I was so excited to watch this film. I absolutely love vampire films. I had my popcorn, my wine and was ready for it. But - I could't have been more disappointed 😢...Seriously; don't bother! Boring-boring-boring! It was the worst vampire film I've ever seen. It wasn't exciting - it wasn't scary. The plot and the story line is ridiculous. There are amazing actors in the film, but even they couldn't carry this dreadful film. Spend your hours doing something else instead. If you want a good vampire film then go back in time to the 90s. Plenty to chose from. The only good thing about this film was the ending.
A California Christmas (2020)
Love it!
Predictable. BUT charming. If you're looking for a heartfelt, romantic, moral film; then this is for you. Don't think and expect too much when you watch it - just enjoy it!
Prison Break (2005)
Loved series 1-3
I loved this series and would totally recommend it. Season 1-3 was great (especially series 1) but it went a bit down hill from there. I still watched it though - It's an enjoyable watch!
Have to add it's a bit ridiculous but in a good way!
Gilmore Girls (2000)
Loved it!
I started watching Gilmore Girls a few months ago, and I've binged watched every episode (including the revival) in that time. I have to say that I loved it. It was funny, emotional, sad, heartfelt, and a truly enjoyable watch. I loved the characters (I have to add I actually preferred the B Cast - I LOVE KIRK... (is that the right word when you mean the cast that are not the main characters?)) I love Loreli Gilmore though; she is smart, independent, proud, and an amazing character (I would not like to have her as my enemy though). Her relationship with her mother is a hard one; she constantly struggles with it until we get to the revival when she calls her Mother to reminisce about the time she was 13 (I was in tears - in that scene you knew that all was forgiven). You can feel the love she has for her Daughter. However, this is where I get a bit annoyed. She has spoilt Rory so much that she is blinded by her - nothing Rory does is wrong.... Rory is my least favourite character in Gilmore Girls. She is a spoilt brat who has been handed everything. People think she is sweet and kind yet she is an adulteress (cheated on Dean with Jess, went with Dean when he was married, cheated on Logan with Jess, cheated on Paul with Logan and went with Logan when he was engaged). She sulks and can be very cruel on occasions. I don't think she has any good qualities but you'll have to watch it yourself to find out. You will not be disappointed with this series.
Watch it - IT'S BRILLIANT!!!
After the Storm (2019)
Okay
This isn't the best film I've ever seen. Which girl looks so perfect when she builds her dream home? However, if you put the bad to one side this film is about helping the community and love and overcoming obstacles. It is a heart warming film!
NCIS: Naval Criminal Investigative Service (2003)
Love S1-11 but not so sure about Agent Bishop
I love NCIS, and I'm currently having a marathon run on amazon prime. I loved Kate and Ziva - but I have to admit I'm not a fan of Agent Eleanor Bishop! She's very annoying and a 'know it all' - I hate that. I've only seen her in a few episodes but I'll continue to watch it in the hopes it will get better.
Sweet Magnolias (2020)
Enjoyable
I enjoyed this series. It's naive, good-natured and heartwarming. I wish I had their lives and their nice houses, etc., but at the end of the day it's a TV series. Don't take it seriously and just sit there and pretend that you live in that fantasy world 👍
The Assignment (2016)
Don't bother!
What can I say? Please don't bother wasting your time watching this crap. I was surprised because it does have good actors in it. Spend your time watching paint dry instead 👍!
The Kissing Booth (2018)
Fab
People on here are quick to judge that the lead actress isn't very pretty, and its not a good film. I so disagree with them all. This film is great!! Don't take it too seriously; take it as it is. A good hearted, family film- I love it! And by the way shes pretty and its nice to see a film that a nice, normal girl gets the boy!
Once Upon a Time (2011)
1-6 FAB Series 7 - not so much
I absolutely loved series 1-6. I couldn't stop watching. I think I must have watched them all in less than a month. It took me to a land far away, and into that little fantasy world that's not reality world. BUT. I'm sad to say that series 7 is such a disappointment. I'm only on episode 6, and instead of watching it I'm writing this review. I wish I was one of these people that can give up and didn't have to watch the entire series of programmes. I'm going to pretend, after watching series 7, that they all lived happily ever after, after series 6.

Mako Mermaids (2013)
Loved it!
Do you know when you're an adult and you have to give up the TV so the kids can watch children's TV (for you to have piece) and you have to sit there and watch it with them. Well this is what happened when my Niece made me watch Mako. The thing is I'm sad to say I loved it; we both watched the entire series and we sang the theme music together. We were both sad when we realised there wasn't series 5. If you want a family, lovely, sweet and innocent programme to watch with your Children - this is it!
