Final Official Trailer for WB's 'Watchmen: Chapter II' Animated Movie

Watchmen: Chapter II Trailer

"I'm terrified it's all connected and the worst is yet to come... And I can't do anything to stop it." Warner Bros has revealed the full trailer for the final half of the animated adaptation of the celebrated Watchmen graphic novel. Watchmen: Chapter 2 is set to debut in November. Back in 2009, Zack Snyder adapted the graphic novel into an epic 3 hour long movie. Which was extended into the "Ultimate Cut", including animated segments of "Tales of the Black Freighter" from the original book. There was also a Motion Comic version in 2009. Then came the "Watchmen" series on HBO in 2019, a re-invention from Damon Lindelof (which was terrific). Now, WB is adapting the entire book again (written by Alan Moore, illustrated by Dave Gibbons) once again. It's a direct from-page-to-screen retelling of this dark & complex story about a group of superheroes with too much power. Voices of Titus Welliver as Rorschach, Rick D. Wasserman as The Comedian, Katee Sackhoff as Silk Spectre II, Adrienne Barbeau as Silk Spectre I, Troy Baker as Veidt / Ozymandias, Matthew Rhys as Nite Owl, Michael Cerveris as Dr. Manhattan, and Jeffrey Combs as Moloch. Chapter II is the conclusion to this grand story of superheroes & villains, power & control. Dive in.

X-Mas Eve Airport Thriller 'Carry-On' Teaser Featuring Taron Egerton

Carry-On Teaser Trailer

"All you have to do – is nothing." Netflix has revealed a first look teaser trailer for a holiday thriller called Carry-On, landing to watch in December later in the year (on Netflix worldwide). It's a new action thriller from Jaume Collet-Serra (of Orphan, Unknown, Non-Stop, The Commuter, Jungle Cruise, Black Adam), who is giving us this present of a B-movie with some cheesy direct-to-video vibes. The mysteriously vague synopsis only explains: A young TSA agent fights to outsmart a mysterious traveler who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight. The impressive ensemble cast features Taron Egerton as the TSA agent, Jason Bateman, Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, Logan Marshall-Green, Dean Norris, Sinqua Walls, and Jason Bateman. The coolest thing about this is Bateman as the bad guy?! This actually looks like the best kind of chilling schlock to enjoy during the holidays this year.

Dark Dystopian Sci-Fi Thriller 'The Fix' Trailer Starring Grace Van Dien

The Fix Trailer

"We could create a whole new population to harvest..." Gravitas Ventures has unveiled an official trailer for an indie sci-fi thriller called The Fix, a unique dystopian creation from indie filmmaker Kelsey Egan as her third feature film. This premiered at a festival earlier this year and will be on VOD starting in November. A toxic compound infects earth's atmosphere. Pharmaceutical giant, Aethera, sells immunity to those who can afford the daily dose... most can't. In this climate change ravaged future with toxic air, a young model takes a new "party" drug causing a physical transformation making her into their next test subject. She freaks out and tries reversing it searching for a "fix" but learns that her mutations could actually save humanity. Huh - an interesting eco-thriller twist. I guess...? The film stars Grace Van Dien (daughter of actor Casper Van Dien), Clancy Brown, Daniel Sharman, Aidan Scott, Chris Fisher, Nicole Fortuin, Ryan Kruger, and Tafara Nyatsanza. Despite an interesting premise, this looks like a direct-to-video production. Enjoy.

First Trailer for Adventure Film 'The Legend of Ochi' from Isaiah Saxon

The Legend of Ochi Trailer

"They can't be our pets." "He's my friend." A24 has revealed an official trailer for a magical new adventure film called The Legend of Ochi, marking the feature debut of up-and-coming filmmaker Isaiah Saxon. He has created many shorts and other cinema projects, but this is his first movie and it's gorgeous. "Something else is out there..." A young girl who lives on a mysterious island heads off on her own into the wilderness when she befriends a little creature known as an Ochi. Similar to a monkey, but not like anything that really exists. The rest is a mystery, though IMDb adds that she "uncovers the mysteries of animal communication." Look at this little cutie! Reminds me of Gizmo from Gremlins. The film stars Helena Zengel (from System Crasher & News of the World), Finn Wolfhard, Emily Watson, and Willem Dafoe. It was originally filmed in 2021 and took three years to complete. Some scenes of the film have been shot in Transylvania, in the Apuseni Mountains, at the Bâlea Lake and on the Transfăgărășan road. I really want to watch this! They don't really make these kind of magical fantasy adventure films anymore, but here we finally have another.

Ominous Teaser Trailer for 'Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl'

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl Teaser

"Who could possibly be behind all this?" Netflix has just revealed the exciting first look teaser trailer for Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl, a brand new Wallace & Gromit animated movie arriving to watch this winter. The "world's best boss" – Feathers McGraw – is back with a vengeance. A brand new epic Wallace & Gromit family adventure from Aaardman, the first full length W&G feature film in 19 years since BAFTA and Academy Award-winning The Curse of the Were-Rabbit. The film focuses on Gromit's concern that Wallace has become over-dependent on his inventions, which proves justified when Wallace invents a "smart gnome" that seems to develop a mind of its own. When it emerges that a vengeful figure from the past might be masterminding things, it falls to Gromit to battle the sinister forces and save his master. With the voices of Ben Whitehead, Peter Kay, Lauren Patel, Reece Shearsmith, Diane Morgan, Adjoa Andoh, Muzz Khan, and Lenny Henry. It also marks the ominous return of one Feathers McGraw, the villainous penguin from the W&G classic The Wrong Trousers back in 1993. Yep, looks like it will be a blast.

James McDougall in Brutal Wilderness Survival Film 'Whiteout' Trailer

Whiteout Trailer

"The wilderness is our prison now..." Saban Films has revealed the official trailer for Whiteout, an intense survival thriller film from Canada. The film premiered under the original title Walking Supply instead, showing at one film festival in late 2023, now set for a November release this fall. That original title is a bit clunky and strange, though Whiteout is also too generic and doesn't tease anything about this story at all. This the thrilling survival story of three men who escape from a Russian labor camp and must overcome the treacherous wilderness & each other as their journey turns into a brutal fight for survival. Directed by Derek Barnes who states: "As a stuntman turned filmmaker, Walking Supply is a dream come true. From dangling off cliffs to falling into frozen lakes, climbing up mountains and smashing trucks through gates – this is the type of high-octane, independent, venturous project that I’ve always wanted to tackle." The thriller Whiteout stars James McDougall, Douglas Nyback, & Joel Labelle as the three men chasing freedom, plus Ian Matthews as the angry guy. Not your standard survival thriller - this has tons of big guns in it! Have a look.

Florida Thriller 'The Man in the White Van' Trailer with Madison Wolfe

The Man in the White Van Trailer

"Maybe somebody just went down the wrong driveway?" Relativity Media has unveiled an official trailer for an indie thriller film called The Man in the White Van, based on a true story of a serial killer stalking people in Florida in the 1970s. Opening in theaters on Friday the 13th in December this year. The Man in the White Van (a PG-13 horror movie) delves into the eerie underbelly of a seemingly idyllic 1974 Florida town and follows the harrowing experience of young Annie Williams, a spirited girl whose carefree existence is turned upside down as she becomes stalked by an ominous man in a white van. Based on actual events of the serial killer Billy Mansfield Jr., this portrays a bone-chilling story of a young girl's unimaginable horrors and every parent’s worst nightmare. Starring Madison Wolfe as Annie, along with Brec Bassinger, Skai Jackson, Gavin Warren, Ali Larter, and Sean Astin. The whole point if this seems to be that, oh back then, they didn't know there were creepos in white vans prowling on kids. Uh huh, sure... whatever you say.

Mubi has revealed their trailer for an indie film called Bird, the latest feature written and directed by the award-winning filmmaker Andrea Arnold (of Red Road, Fish Tank, American Honey, Cow). So Bailey looks for attention and adventure elsewhere, eventually meeting a strange man named "Bird" with whom she builds a connection with.
