Montgomery County
[edit]Please don't take offence, but I have reverted your edit to the Montgomery disambiguation page. Linking to Montgomery County (disambiguation) shows this a deliberate link, and is intended to tell future editors (trying to fix accidental links to Montgomery County) that this link does not need changing. This is explained at Wikipedia:Disambiguation#Links to disambiguation pages CarolGray 08:18, 31 January 2007 (UTC)

Image tagging for Image:Tiberium.gif
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Tiberium.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Disputed fair use rationale for Image:CoHScreen1.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:CoHScreen1.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 07:24, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
Fair use rationale for Image:Windows live messenger colour picker.png
[edit]Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Windows live messenger colour picker.png. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. The Helpful One (Review) 22:27, 29 February 2008 (UTC)

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of IMA MB 50, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.probertencyclopaedia.com/browse/FMI.HTM. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.
This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 03:12, 13 October 2008 (UTC)
Cut-and-Paste move
[edit]I've undone your edits on Armorer and Armourer: while I understand the merits of making the move, such changes should be done using move rather than a cut-and-paste operation that severs the article history from the article, causing trouble with the chain of attribution required by the GFDL license. A move operation transfers the history, while cut, paste and redirect doesn't, and is therefore A Bad Thing. However, I've gone ahead and moved the article, since moving over a redirect requires a deletion, and is an administrative action (which is probably why you tried to do it via cut-and-paste). Regards,Acroterion (talk) 17:22, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
- Ah, I understand. Yes, I could not move the article because there already was an article in the Armourer page, albeit an empty one. Thanks for the move! --Įиʛ§øç βїʛβяøтњєя Rant | Contributions 22:38, 21 October 2008 (UTC)
Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Deletion discussion about Northern Han Chinese
[edit]Hello, IngSoc BigBrother,
I wanted to let you know that there's a discussion about whether Northern Han Chinese should be deleted. Your comments are welcome at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Northern Han Chinese .
If you're new to the process, articles for deletion is a group discussion (not a vote!) that usually lasts seven days. If you need it, there is a guide on how to contribute. Last but not least, you are highly encouraged to continue improving the article; just be sure not to remove the tag about the deletion nomination from the top.
Thanks,
