Summary

Description
English: A U.S. Navy McDonnell Douglas F/A-18C Hornet (BuNo 165403) assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron 34 (VFA-34) "Blue Blasters" flies near the aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson (CVN-70) over the Pacific Ocean on 20 March 2018. VFA-34 was assigned to Carrier Air Wing 2 (CVW-2) aboard the Carl Vinson for a deployment to the Western Pacific since 5 January 2018. Note that his aircraft was the personal aircraft of the "Commander Air Group" (CAG). The small insription on the tail refers to the fact that this deployment of VFA-34 was the last deployment of a U.S. Navy squadron equipped with the F/A-18A/C ("legacy") Hornet.
