Shouldn't this code starting from a letter? This code is used enumerate successful and failed launches. Successful starts with S, failed with letter F. NH2501 (talk) 12:34, 18 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Please change N2YO to Satcat.com

[edit]

Hello, I see that N2YO is being referenced for "formatter URL", "URL match pattern", and "search formatter URL" I suggest that is changed to:

Satcat.com does not have ads, have TLEs updated on an hourly-basis, and have an aggregation method (referenced here: https://www.satcat.com/about) that greatly enhances the user-experience of researching a satellite. It also is mobile friendly. It also is made by a flight-proven space company, Kayhan Space (https://www.kayhan.space)

Also, Satcat has non-cataloged satellites such as Space Fence objects (for example: https://www.satcat.com/sats/270000), TBA (To be Assigned) uncataloged objects, and anaylst objects (https://www.satcat.com/sats/89003)  – The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hyunkseo (talk • contribs) at 05:19, 2 October 2024‎ (UTC).[reply]

Notified participants of WikiProject Space: Could you have a look at this requested change to formatter URL? Thanks Samoasambia 17:12, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted to say that URL match pattern (P8966) should not be changed. It can and should hold multiple patterns if the same id can be extracted from multiple websites. –Shisma (talk) 18:02, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I added those properties. feel free to decide which should be preferred. –Shisma (talk) 18:09, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
While the N2YO site is a little more stable and loads faster, Satcat.com does look like the overall better option with mounds of information. I support formatter URL (P1630) and search formatter URL (P4354) using Satcat as the preferred website. Huntster (t @ c) 20:29, 3 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
