Julian Micevski (born September 20, 1989), better known by his ring name Ethan Page, is a Canadian professional wrestler. He currently wrestles for WWE on their NXT brand and is the current NXT Champion in his first reign. He also competed for All Elite Wrestling (AEW), their sister promotion Ring of Honor (ROH), Impact Wrestling and Evolve.
During his time in Impact Wrestling, Page was known for being one-half of the tag team The North with Josh Alexander. Together they became two-time Impact World Tag Team Champions.[1][2]
Career
[change | change source]All Elite Wrestling
[change | change source]On March 7, 2021, Page signed a three-year contract with All Elite Wrestling (AEW).[3][4] He made his debut the same night at Revolution. He competed in the Face of the Revolution ladder match as a surprise entrant but the match was won by Scorpio Sky.[5] On the March 29 episode of Dark: Elevation, Page created a tag team with Scorpio Sky. They later called themselves the Men of the Year.[6]
On the August 18 episode of Dynamite, Page and Sky joined Dan Lambert's American Top Team stable.[7] On the October 27 episode of Dynamite, Page challenged Sammy Guevara for his TNT Championship but lost the match.[8] At New Year's Smash, Page once again challenge for the TNT Championship, losing to Cody Rhodes.[9] Men of the Year quietly broke up after Sky lost his TNT Championship to Wardlow on the July 7, 2022 episode of Dynamite.[10]
At The House Always Wins, Page competed in a 15 Man Battle Royal to determine who would become the number one contender for the AEW TNT Championship. The match was eventually won by The Butcher.[11]
On the July 1, 2023 episode of Collision in his hometown of Hamilton, Page challenged MJF for his AEW World Championship but was defeated.[12] On May 2, 2024, Page’s profile was removed from AEW and ROH’s websites, ending his time with the companies.[13]
WWE (2024–present)
[change | change source]On the May 28, 2024 edition of NXT, Page made his WWE debut, attacking NXT Champion Trick Williams.[14] At NXT Heatwave on July 7, he won the NXT Championship by defeating Williams, Shawn Spears, and Je'Von Evans in a fatal four-way match.[15]
