D. Babu Paul

Daniel Babu Paul (Malayalam: ഡി. ബാബു പോൾ; 11 April 1941 – 13 April 2019) was an Indian civil servant and writer. He was a member of the Indian Administrative Service. He was also member ombudsman for local self-government institutions of Kerala during 2000–01. He served as vice-chancellor of the University of Kerala. He wrote books in Malayalam language. At the time of his death, he was serving as the independent member of the Kerala Infrastructure Investment Fund Board.

Bab Paul's wife Anna Babu Paul (Nirmala) died in 2000. The couple had a daughter and a son. On 13 April 2019, Babu Paul died of multiple organ failure in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. He was 78.[1]
