Gerald Tommaso DeLouise (April 30, 1940 – October 8, 2023), better known by his stage name Burt Young, was an American actor, painter and author. He is best known for his Academy Award-nominated role as Sylvester Stallone's brother-in-law and best friend Paulie in the Rocky movie series.
Young died in Los Angeles, California from cardiac arrest caused by atrial fibrillation on October 8, 2023 at the age of 83.[1][2]
