Usage notes
[edit]- This word is an example of a false friend between Banjarese and Sundanese. Since the term 'ngabuburit' gained popularity in the 1990s[1] and was adopted into Indonesian, some Banjarese speakers might confuse the Sundanese root "burit" with the Banjarese burit (“buttock”). [2]
