Correction Required: Ramayyan Dalawa belongs to Sankethi Brahmin community & not Iyer. The descedants of Ramayyan Dalawa are currently residing in the state of Karnataka (in Hassan, Mysore & Shimoga districts) known as Sankethi's, who have migrated to karnataka long back(2 groups: Kowshika & Bettadapura). Sankethi's are Dravidian Brahmins, speak a unique language called "Sankethi vartha" which is a blend of Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada. Ref. made to Dr. Pranatharthi Haran's research work, published with the title "Sankethi".
