London as a Muslim city

[edit]

I think the introduction paragraph should reference London as a Muslim city Mrred81 (talk) 05:55, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

You're quite alone in that regard. Will Thorpe (talk) 12:58, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
How so exactly? Only fifteen percent of London's population are Muslims. G-13114 (talk) 14:30, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You seem to agree with me. Will Thorpe (talk) 16:34, 5 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
it could be added to the paragraph that names all the no-go zones in the city. /s PutTheKettleOn (talk) 07:02, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

London

[edit]

Does ANYONE actually know what they're talking about here? "London is the capital and largest city of both England and the United Kingdom, with a population of around 8.8 million" ??????? What a load of tripe. No wonder the English get laughed at by the rest of The World. They talk shite. Can anybody explain, what exactly IS the 'capital' of England? Is it London (the city of that name) or is it Greater London (the metropolitan county of that name). I've never read so much drivel as I read on Wikipedia. No, wait, yes I have. "MY LONDON" is saying London (City) is bigger than New York (City) which, again, is rubbish. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.25.249.162 (talk) 00:05, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

If you have the correct content please suggest it. PutTheKettleOn (talk) 07:06, 31 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox images

[edit]

I suggest replacing the current File:St Paul dome.jpeg with either File:St Paul's Cathedral Dome from One New Change - Vertical Crop.jpg or File:St Paul's Cathedral Dome from One New Change - Square Crop.jpg, as they have both a significantly higher resolution, less noise, and more realistic colours. –Tobias (talk) 11:55, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Like most city articles.... way too many files in the lead.... do we need 10 files for four paragraphs of information with the vast majority not even being mentioned? Moxy🍁 20:40, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Do we need bad ones in this case? This discussion is not about the count, only about the replacement of one image, which is already included, to use a better alternative at least. Btw, St. Paul's Cathedral is mentioned pretty extensively compared to other topics. –Tobias (talk) 20:55, 29 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please add King's College School, Wimbledon to the list of primary and secondary schools. It is one of the most academically successful schools in the world and is often ranked above all of the other ones currently listed. AARedlaser (talk) 11:30, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please provide reliable sources that support the change you want to be made. Charliehdb (talk) 14:48, 29 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
1. You must ask for a edit request [you must also add reliable sources]2. London isn’t a article that talks about anything. Only the city. Last but not least is the fact that it’s quite insignificant. User:Mcflurry2212 11:17, 4 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

latin name

[edit]

Londinium is the latin name. May i insert it in London page ? Romualdo Giovannoni (talk) 14:17, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Londinium is already mentioned both in the 4th sentence, and the majority of the first section. -- zzuuzz (talk) 14:23, 8 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
