Removed picture "kagura stage"

[edit]

I removed a picture with the caption "kagura stage" because it very clearly depicted the bugaku dance called "Enbu". While bugaku and kagura might share similarities, there is no place for this picture in this article.Geertrinkel (talk) 16:43, 26 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Daikagura?

[edit]

Shouldn't "daikagura" actually be "okagura"? I've seen several Japanese sources saying it's pronounced おおかぐら. Paul Davidson (talk) 12:54, 10 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Merge elements?

[edit]

I realized half-way through writing this that there is actually a sizeable section on kagura in the article on Shinto. If anyone would like to try to reconcile these two, maybe take elements from the Shinto article into this one, or even just delete this one entirely and make it a link to Shinto, I'd appreciate it. Sorry for the messup. LordAmeth 12:10, 1 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The image at the top of the page entitled 'Noh Kagura' is, of course a Bugaku performance. Where was this taken? There appears to be no Wiki yet for Bugaku so I might as well take this on - if there are no objections. I have some images taken at Shittenoji some years back which can be uploaded.

Move to Kagura?

[edit]

As all the other articles listed on the disambiguation page are anime characters, it seems like this article ought to be directly under the name "Kagura". Kotengu 小天狗 04:27, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree wholeheartedly. The disambig page can be moved to Kagura (disambig). LordAmeth 08:24, 23 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I agree as well (and, you mean Kagura (disambiguation), right?) Neier 12:52, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Sure. As we seem to be in agreement here, I've done the move. I'm going through all the pages which link to it and trying to fix the links - if I miss any, I apologize. LordAmeth 13:05, 24 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

divinification?

[edit]

The translation at the top of the article says "oracular divinaification". I'm guessing this should say "oracular divinification", because the only places I can find "divinaification" on Google seem to be sourced from this article.

But I'm not certain, so I'm just posting it here for now.
